R+L Carriers was recently awarded the 2008 Ohio Trucking Fleet Safety Award by the Ohio Trucking Association (OTA). This award is based on the number of Ohio DOT reportable accidents x 1,000,000 vehicle miles driven in Ohio. R+L Carriers excelled in this category reporting a frequency rate of 0.455 which reflects the continued efforts made by the organization to put safety in the forefront of all training programs.

R+L Carriers will be recognized by receiving the “Presidents Trophy” for the Best Safety Record – Large Division – during the OTA annual convention held August 31st, 2009 in Wheeling WV.
